Basrah University Starts Registration for Competency Courses

In a response to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the approval of the Chancellor of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the Information Technology and Communication Center, University of Basrah will resume competency courses for applicants for postgraduate studies for the academic year 2022-2023.

The director of the center, Kayan Abdul Aziz Mutlaq, said that this year's courses will be combined, as the daily electronic lectures and tests are synchronized, and the final exam is in attendance in the center's building.

The courses aim to raise the participant's competency in the field of computer, English and Arabic, and to give them certificates of passing the courses, as it is one of the requirements for applying for postgraduate studies.

The scheduled courses will include a weekly course in Computer Proficiency, English and Arabic for five days from Sunday to Thursday.

Registration for the courses will begin on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in the Accounts Unit in the Information Technology and Communications Center building located in the Karmat Ali campus, the course will begin when the number of participants for the classroom is completed.
