Basrah University Resumes Competency Courses

As a response to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to support the educational process in Iraq and encourage those willing to apply for graduate studies in all disciples, and the constant efforts by the President of Basrah University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, to achieve our university goals by supporting scientific and academic research, Information Technology and Communication Center, University of Basrah preparing to resume the competency courses for postgraduate applicants for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Director of Information Technology and Communication Center, University of Basrah Kayan Abdul Aziz Mutlaq said that this year's courses are combined, as the daily lectures and exams will be synchronized online, and the final exam will be in attendance at the center's building.

The aim of the Courses is to raise the participants’ competency in the field of computer, English and Arabic, and to give them certificates of passing the courses, as it is one of the requirements for applying for postgraduate studies.

The scheduled courses will include a weekly course for computer proficiency, English, and Arabic. For register fees, it will be paid before a course in the Accounts Unit in the building of Information Technology and Communication Center located in Karmat Ali Colleges Campus, the electronic registration will be in the courses on the link published on the center’s website.
